Digital Desk, Jaipur. Dilip Chaudhary, the father of 18-year-old Lucky Chaudhary from Ranjit Nagar, Delhi, who tragically took his own life on Wednesday by hanging in Kota, Rajasthan, has voiced his concerns regarding his son’s roommate from Bihar, whom he suspects of foul play.

After arriving in Kota on Thursday to attend to the aftermath of his son’s death, Dilip shared poignant memories of Lucky’s character. He recalled, “My son would often reassure me by saying, ‘Papa, I am not so weak that I would ever consider taking my own life.’ He was a positive thinker and exuded courage. I encouraged him to move to Kota to prepare for the NEET examination, believing it would be a step towards a brighter future.”

Father’s Alarming Revelations

Dilip recounted that initially, Lucky was residing in a hostel but later chose to share a rented accommodation with Rahul. He expressed distress over the fact that Lucky’s mobile phone, bag, and wallet were all missing from the room. Furthermore, Rahul, the roommate, has also vanished following the tragic event. According to Dilip, Rahul was in Kota for his studies but had connections with a female friend in the area.

Accusations Against Rahul, the Roommate

The father has pointed fingers at Rahul, suggesting that the two had a tumultuous relationship. He described Rahul as someone who frequently engaged in drinking and claimed that just two days before Lucky’s death, the two had a heated argument. Dilip recounted his last conversation with Lucky, during which his son revealed his financial struggles and mentioned that Rahul had been pressuring him for money. Lucky had requested a sum of 40,000 rupees from his father, of which only 10,000 rupees had been sent, with the remainder promised for a later date. Tragically, before any further assistance could be provided, Lucky took his own life.
