Digital Desk, New Delhi. A devastating fire broke out in a hut located in the Malier Jatt village, situated in the Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan, resulting in the loss of a staggering ten lakh rupees stored in an iron pot.
The unfortunate incident occurred around five o’clock in the morning on Friday, while the victim, Banwari Nath, was resting outside his home. His wife and children were inside the hut when, for reasons yet to be determined, the structure was engulfed in flames. Fortunately, those inside managed to escape unharmed, but the fire consumed all of their belongings.
Funds Set Aside for Children’s Weddings
Banwari explained that the money lost in the fire had been compensation he received approximately two years ago, following the acquisition of his land for the Sariska Tiger Reserve project. After being displaced, his family settled in Malier Jatt village and constructed a hut to live in. They had planned to use these funds to finance their children’s weddings, but tragically, the fire destroyed their hopes before they could fulfill those dreams.
In response to the calamity, Tijara subdivision officer Sanjeev Kumar confirmed that the family of the victim would receive support from the Disaster Management Fund to assist them during this difficult time.
