PTI, Tumkuru. A tragic road accident in Tumkuru, Karnataka, has resulted in the loss of three lives. Authorities reported that a direct collision between a private bus and a car near the Belladhara Gate in the district occurred on Saturday, leading to the fatalities of three individuals and leaving two others with serious injuries.
The incident took place while the car was en route from Tumkuru to Pawagada. According to police sources, all those who lost their lives were from various villages in the Koratagare Taluk, and they were traveling to Dharmasthala in the South Kannada district at the time of the accident.
In the aftermath of the collision, the bus driver fled the scene. The Tumkuru Rural Police have initiated a case regarding the incident and are actively pursuing an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the crash.
