Digital Desk, New Delhi. On Saturday, Union Health Minister JP Nadda announced a groundbreaking milestone, revealing that approximately 6.5 crore women have undergone health examinations during nearly 18 lakh health camps held nationwide as part of the ‘Healthy Women, Strong Family’ initiative.
Nadda characterized this accomplishment as a significant moment in the country’s health sector, emphasizing that it embodies the collective commitment of the nation to prioritize women’s health and well-being.
‘6.5 crore Women Undergo Health Screenings’
In a message shared on X, Nadda highlighted that the two-week ‘Healthy Women, Strong Family’ campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17. Throughout this campaign, an impressive 6.5 crore women were screened at approximately 18 lakh health camps organized across the country, showcasing a remarkable mobilization of resources and community involvement.
