Reports indicate that a confrontation between two male tigers has been identified in the Mukki area. The distressing events in the Kanha Range unfolded when an elephant patrol unit was on its routine tour. During their patrol, the team heard the sounds of a fierce fight among tigers. Upon reaching the location, they discovered the male tiger in an agitated state, while a tigress stood nearby. The lifeless bodies of the two female cubs were found close to the tigress, leading to the conclusion that the male tiger was responsible for their demise.

The management of the Kanha Tiger Reserve acted swiftly to secure the areas where the incidents occurred and followed all necessary protocols. Puneet Goyal, Deputy Director of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, stated that these fatalities were the result of a conflict between the tigers, and both cases are currently under thorough investigation.
