In a message shared on X, PM Modi remarked, “A remarkable initiative! Kudos to all those who have worked tirelessly on the ground to ensure it has been so impactful and beneficial for our Nari Shakti. This campaign exemplifies the spirit of Jan Bhagidari, as we strive to enhance the quality of life for many.”

BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda also took to social media to highlight the significant accomplishments of the campaign, emphasizing its extensive reach and the positive impact of the health initiative.

“Initiated on September 17 by the esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the two-week-long #SwasthNariSashaktParivar Abhiyaan came to a successful close on October 2, achieving a remarkable milestone of screening 6.5 crore women through nearly 18 lakh health camps set up across the nation. This incredible achievement demonstrates the collective commitment of our country to prioritize women’s health as a cornerstone for robust families and flourishing communities. Let us build on this momentum by inspiring every woman to prioritize her health, engage in regular health check-ups, and champion a healthier, more empowered future,” Nadda shared on X.

As the campaign wrapped up, it witnessed extensive participation from various regions across India, resulting in significant benefits for countless women, children, and families through comprehensive health services, as noted in an official statement from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

By the conclusion of the initiative on October 2, over 18 lakh health camps, which included both screening and specialty camps, had been conducted, attracting nearly 10 crore citizens from all walks of life nationwide.

Among the notable outcomes, more than 1.78 crore citizens were screened for hypertension, while 1.72 crore individuals underwent diabetes screenings. Additionally, over 37 lakh women were checked for breast cancer, and more than 19 lakh for cervical cancer. The initiative also included screening for oral cancer, reaching over 69 lakh people, and conducting more than 62.60 lakh antenatal check-ups. Furthermore, over 1.43 crore children received vital vaccinations, and more than 1.51 crore were screened for anemia.

Nutrition counseling sessions provided guidance to more than 1.16 crore individuals, over 85 lakh citizens were screened for tuberculosis, and 10.23 lakh for sickle cell disease. Additionally, more than 4.30 lakh blood donors stepped forward to contribute, with over 10.69 Ayushman/PM-JAY cards issued, marking key milestones of the campaign.

Beyond the extensive network of health camps organized by the National Health Mission (NHM), premier institutions such as AIIMS and other Institutes of National Importance (INIs), tertiary care hospitals, Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, medical colleges, and various private healthcare facilities played an integral role in driving this national initiative.
