Newgen Software, an IT firm, has announced a 2.8% increase in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 108.3 crore for the quarter that ended on March 31, 2025. This compares to a profit of Rs 105.26 crore during the same quarter of the previous financial year, as per a regulatory filing.
In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, operational revenues totaled Rs 429.8 crore, marking a significant rise of 14.5% from Rs 375.2 crore in Q4 FY24. The revenue growth was primarily fueled by strong performance in the APAC and US regions, according to the company’s statement.
When compared to the previous quarter, both profit and revenue saw increases of 21.6% and 12.7%, respectively.
For the entire fiscal year 2025, the profit surged by 20.5% to Rs 315.2 crore, up from Rs 251.6 crore in fiscal year 2024.
Revenue for fiscal year 2025 also saw a substantial increase of 19.5%, reaching Rs 1,486.8 crore, primarily driven by revenues from licensing and implementation.
Diwakar Nigam, Chairman and Managing Director of Newgen Software Technologies, stated, “Our growth was fueled by robust licensing and implementation revenues in various markets. Notably, our large customer base, with billings exceeding Rs 5 crores, has grown from 65 to 87 customers this year. The quarter specifically highlighted strong growth and successful deals in the US region.”
