Religious tech agency AppsForBharat, which owns Sri Mandir platform, has raised $20 million, about Rs 175 crore, in a funding spherical led by Susquehanna Asia Enterprise Capital, the corporate mentioned on Tuesday.
Present buyers comprising Nandan Nilekani-backed Fundamentum, Elevation Capital, and Peak XV Companions participated within the funding spherical.
“AppsForBharat, the mum or dad firm of India’s largest devotional platform, Sri Mandir, right this moment introduced that it has raised Rs 175 crore ($20M) in a Sequence C funding spherical,” the corporate mentioned in an announcement.
The agency mentioned that the funds shall be invested in over 20 temple cities in India together with Varanasi, Ujjain, Ayodhya and Haridwar, strengthen companies, set up achievement and logistics hubs, and construct AI-led options to bolster person engagement.
