Tech entrepreneur Kaushik Mukherjee has introduced his plans to shift his workplace from Bengaluru to Maharashtra’s Pune over the regional Kannada language row. His remarks adopted amid the controversy linked to a non-Kannada SBI supervisor who went viral on social media for refusing to speak within the native language with a buyer.

He was reacting to the viral video shared by BJP MP Tesjasvi Surya. Mukherjee’s X bio says that he’s an entrepreneur and an activist.
Surya criticised the feminine SBI worker over the matter.
“This behaviour by the SBI Department Supervisor is just not acceptable. In case you are doing buyer interface work in Karnataka, particularly in a sector like banking, you will need to talk to clients within the language they know. Being adamant like that is merely not proper,” Surya’s X publish learn.
The over one-minute-long video from Bengaluru’s Chandrapura reveals the department supervisor arguing with a buyer. Speaking with the client in English, the lady says, “That is India…I can’t converse in Kannada.” She has now been transferred.
