Maserati Unveils New Supercar in India: The renowned Italian automaker Maserati has officially unveiled its flagship supercar, the MC Pura, in the Indian automotive market. This elegant mid-engine vehicle is available in two captivating variations: a sleek Coupe and a convertible option known as Cielo. The MC Pura made its global debut at the prestigious Goodwood Festival earlier this year, serving as the successor to the celebrated MC20. Among its impressive features, the MC Pura boasts multiple driving modes, automatic climate control, and a powerful V6 turbo petrol engine.

Here’s a comprehensive overview of the Maserati MC Pura:

The Maserati MC Pura is priced starting at ₹4.12 crore (ex-showroom) for the Coupe model, while the convertible Cielo variant is available at ₹5.12 crore (ex-showroom).

The aesthetic appeal of the Maserati MC Pura closely resembles that of its predecessor, the MC20. The front façade features a redesigned grille framed in dark accents, which enhances the car’s commanding presence. Additionally, the air intakes have been strategically repositioned beneath the more pronounced headlights. At the rear, the bumpers have been modified for a more assertive appearance.

Inside the Maserati MC Pura, drivers and passengers are greeted with laser-etched Alcantara upholstery adorned with unique vertical stripes. The seating design has been reimagined, featuring a double-sided backing that can be customized to suit individual preferences. Despite these updates, many elements continue to echo the design language established by the MC20.

Under the hood, the Maserati MC Pura is powered by a robust 3.0L twin-turbo V6 petrol engine, referred to as “Nettuno” by Maserati. This impressive engine generates a remarkable 621 bhp and 719 Nm of torque across both the Coupe and Cielo variants. The vehicle features a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) system and is paired with a sophisticated eight-speed automatic transmission.

Thanks to its powerful V6 engine, the Maserati MC Pura Cielo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds, boasting a top speed of 325 km/h. Meanwhile, the Coupe variant showcases an even more impressive 0-100 km/h sprint time of 2.9 seconds, while maintaining the same impressive top speed.
